Originally from Tuxpan, Veracruz, Mexico; Dinorah Martínez is passionate about cities and architectural design. She wants to build a city through architecture to find specific solutions, suitable for each need. She considers architecture to be the art of creating and transmitting experiences.

Graduated in Architecture and Urbanism with honors from the CEMEX White Chair with the thesis "Topographic Suture" from Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico City, receiving the "Manuel Garibay" award and project nominated for the MCHAP Student Award 2016 Recently graduated from the Specialty of
Postgraduate in Creative Code for Design from the CENTRO Diseño, Cine y Televisión University (2018) developing the thesis "Flextructure". She complemented her Architecture studies by attending as a studend abroad at the University of Technology of Sydney UTS (2015). She began her professional career working as director of communication and marketing at Rojkind Arquitectos (2016 - 2017) and has collaborated with several prominent firms in Mexico and the world, such as: Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos (2017-2018), Arquitectura 911 (2018) and MAD Architects (2017) in Beijing, China and acoustic design together with TEKTIL and SAAD Acústica (2019). He participated in the ACADIA 2018 workshop in the “Bodies in Formation” workshop together with the architect Andrew Kudless from Matsys Design. Recently awarded the scholarship to participate in the Robotic Atelier 2019 by the Norman Foster Foundation.

She is currently pursuing his postgraduate master's degree: MASDFAB ETH Master of Advanced Studies ETH in Architecture and Digital Fabrication at ETH Zurich 2019-2020, in Zurich, Switzerland.

Her interests lie in exploring the relationships between technology and architecture applicable in the creative process and design. Shaped by her work experiences, she is determined to bring an international perspective to her academic, professional, and creative work. She is a versatile and motivated architect, and has worked as a volunteer in fields ranging from the creative process, development, execution, and even dissemination of any project.
