Zaha Hadid's asset is severely in the spotlight after her death in March 2016 - the late architect Zaha Hadid has left over £70.8 million estate and Patrik Schumacher, her former deputy, received £500,000 lump sum-the only non-family member named in the will.
British-Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid's fortune details have been obtained from the documents, released by The Architects' Journal and according to the journal, the majority of Hadid's estate is divided into her four executors, which includes also Patrik Schumacher. The four executors in the list, alongside Schumacher, include Hadid's niece Rana Hadid, artist Brian Clarke and property developer and Peter Palumbo, former Serpentine Gallery Chairman, who are also the trustees of charity the Zaha Hadid Foundation.
Zaha Hadid died of heart attack at 65 in March 2016 and she had left more than £3 million depth at the time of her death, which reduced her fortune to £67.2 million. Hadid's multi-million-pound estate will be distributed over the next 125 years.
If four executors are disagree on the distribution of the asset within the allocated period, the sum will be left to the Zaha Hadid Foundation. Hadid's fortune is valued at a Penthouse in Clerkenwell, East London and the firm Zaha Hadid Architects, now directed by her business partner Patrik Schumacher.
Patrik Schumacher has recently been criticised for his speculative views on social housing regulations by a great majority of media and the public. The architect expressed his views at the World Architecture Festival 2016 in Arena Berlin. After a long debate, Schumacher rearticulated his opinions via his personal Facebook page by saying that ''my propositions advanced at WAF do not represent represent the opinion of ZHA. Firms do not have opinions, only persons do.'''
Patrik Schumacher is the only Business Partner who leads Zaha Hadid Architects now, other six architects work as Directors of the firm. Schumacher received a £500,000 gift after Hadid's sudden death -named as an executor of Hadid's will.
