This house is marked by a very steep land, and little walls made of stones that support it, as it´s so frequent in Madeira’s landscaping. This is the way to organise the space and to conquer the land, before starting all the operation. What we did here to summarize is a little shelter (66 square metres) consisting of a sitting room with a little kitchen, a bathroom and a bedroom. But the aim was for the construction to be as indiscernible as possible, like if it was part of the already existing walls. The formal solution is described in the land. The architecture is based on what already existed that means the stone walls. The house has a privileged connection with its involving, thanks to the views on the sea and the mountains, or the garden areas that surround the house.
