Architectural-plastic idea – the composition of vertical volumes – forest and basic volume mountain.
Dark Forest - fundamental formant of the buildings image - landmark. Those are abstracted fragments of broken swastikas, symbolizing the main aggressor of World War II - fascism and its collapse. Black color – a color of war.
Material - repousse metal, related with the clang of metal of military technology. Metal plates are attached in spot manner so that they could move because of the wind blow and would send the sounds of the clang of metal. Like leaves of trees murmur and rustle in the forest, here the metal is clanged likewise. Indispensable part to the conception of the project – smoke, together with light and mournful smell floating from vertical elements create the mood of the burning forest or chimneys of crematorium, where light associates with manes of fascism victims. By these means it is tried to create lurid, intimidating mood, conceptually reflecting and reminding future generations of cruelties and harrying nature of the most global war.
