The Brick House 122 is more than just an interior design/renovation project, it's a true labor of love for the family of six who call it home. The use of high-quality, durable materials such as bricks and roof tiles ensures that this home will stand the test of time and continue to be a cherished place for generations to come. The decision to preserve the existing trees on the site adds to the unique charm and character of the house, making it feel like a true extension of nature.
The challenge of the project was to re-design the spaces and give them a sense of purpose. The design concept is centered on the movement and journey of the family, with the main gate serving as the focal point. Three distinct journeys have been planned, each with a specific purpose and destination. The first journey leads to the formal lounge, perfect for welcoming guests and making lasting memories. The second journey leads to the main entrance of the house, defined by a beautiful tree and a striking featured brick wall, a warm welcome to the house. The third journey leads to the deck of the master bedroom at the back of the house, designed for the couple to enjoy and relax in peace. The careful selection of materials and the attention to detail have resulted in a home that is both beautiful and functional. The use of natural light and ventilation has been maximized, creating a bright and airy feel throughout the house. The family's love for nature and the outdoors is reflected in the design, with large windows and sliding glass screens that seamlessly connect the indoor and outdoor spaces. The result is a home that is not only stunning but also sustainable and environmentally friendly. The Brick House 122 is a true masterpiece, a testament to the power of good design and the importance of creating a home that is tailored to the needs and desires of its inhabitants.
