Librerías Buena Prensa

The values and new activities of the publishing house were the trigger that motivated the image makeover for Librerías Buena Prensa. The project done by DIN interiorismo design team maintained its characteristic religious essence and did a program based on the new activities to be promoted in the space in order to create a complete contemporary image that invites everyone to enjoy this magnificent space.

The correct combination of materials and an important presence of color resulted in a contemporary atmosphere within this beautiful building in the traditional area of Santa María de la Rivera in Mexico City. It is a space that invites all to come in and go through the two levels distributing the large publishing production that this prestigious house has since 1936.

The new interior design also aims to become a cultural center and an important meeting point for the community, promoting the values that distinguish the publisher. The spaces for children and youngsters activities give a breath of fresh air that motivates to enjoy this space, reading and all its activities.

Los valores de la editorial y nuevas actividades fueron el detonador que motivó el cambio de imagen para las Librerías Buena Prensa. El proyecto que realizó el equipo de DIN interiorismo mantuvo la esencia religiosa que la caracteriza y realizó un programa con base en las nuevas actividades que se promoverán en este espacio para crear una imagen contemporánea que invite a todo el público a disfrutar de este magnífico espacio.

La correcta combinación de materiales y una importante presencia de color dieron como resultado un ambiente contemporáneo dentro de este bello edificio en el tradicional barrio de Santa María de la Rivera. Un espacio que invita al recorrido desde su exterior y que por medio de dos niveles distribuye la gran oferta editorial que esta prestigiada casa editorial tiene desde 1936.

El nuevo proyecto interior tiene además el objetivo de convertirse en un centro cultural y un importante punto de encuentro para la comunidad, promoviendo los valores que distinguen a la editorial. Los espacios para las actividades dirigidas a niños y jóvenes le dan una bocanada de aire fresco que motiva a disfrutar de este espacio, la lectura y todas sus actividades.
