Remodeling projects present a unique opportunity: they not only refresh a space's appearance but also update its original design to extend its lifespan. The design we developed for this apartment addresses the residents' needs and balances functionality with a contemporary and sophisticated style.
The spacious living-dining area allowed for the integration of an office, defined by partition walls that organize the space without disrupting visual continuity. The transition between areas was achieved by interrupting one of the walls before reaching the ceiling and complementing it with a screen that maintains permeability.
The playroom/TV room, conceived as a study and recreation space for the youngest, was completely transformed through a change of materials, as well as by furniture designed and produced to measure, guaranteeing functionality and atmosphere.
In the secondary bedrooms, the bathrooms were renovated with new finishes and fixtures that reinforce the project's contemporary yet timeless aesthetic. In the master bedroom, the updated finishes included a marble wainscoting that, as a focal point, redefines the ambiance without requiring any extraordinary interventions.
The toilet acquired a unique personality thanks to the addition of wallpaper, wood paneling and indirect lighting, elements that generate a completely renewed image.
The renovation is complemented by custom-made, built-in furniture with integrated lighting, designed to optimize the use of space. Both the built-in and freestanding furniture follow a contemporary style that unifies the design and reinforces the apartment's new identity.
