The Hilton Odessa project was officially announced in November 2021, when Hilton signed a franchise agreement with Gefest Group, one of the largest real estate developers in the Odessa region, for the development of a new beachfront resort in Odessa, Ukraine.
The 145-room hotel is located on the Black Sea coast, adjacent to the famous Arcadia entertainment district. Designed as a contemporary seaside destination, the complex consists of two interconnected volumes: the main hotel building and a separate annex positioned closer to the shoreline. The project is managed by Cyprus-based Millennium Hospitality.
JK Lab Architects was commissioned to develop the architectural concept for the exterior, landscape, and interior design of both buildings. The design seeks to create a seamless relationship between architecture, nature, and the sea, allowing the surrounding landscape to become an integral part of the guest experience.
The architectural language combines clean contemporary forms with warm natural materials and generous glazing, maximizing panoramic views of the Black Sea while filling the interiors with natural light. Public areas are conceived as open, fluid spaces that blur the boundaries between indoor and outdoor living through expansive terraces, landscaped gardens, and carefully framed vistas.
Landscape design extends the architectural narrative by creating a sequence of welcoming outdoor spaces that connect the hotel with the coastline. Interior spaces emphasize comfort, elegance, and a refined resort atmosphere, balancing international hospitality standards with the unique character of Odessa's waterfront.
