Residential Interior with Oak-Tone Flooring and Carpets

The design intention of this project was to create a warm, comfortable, and visually balanced residential interior by combining oak-tone flooring with carefully selected carpeted areas. The use of oak-inspired flooring brings a natural warmth and continuity to the space, helping to unify the interior while maintaining a modern and timeless aesthetic.

Carpets were intentionally introduced in specific zones to soften the overall look and enhance everyday comfort. This contrast between hard and soft surfaces adds depth to the interior, improves acoustic comfort, and supports a relaxed living environment suited to daily use. The colour palette was kept neutral and warm to allow the flooring and carpets to complement one another without overpowering the space.

Attention was also given to how natural and artificial light interacts with the materials throughout the day, ensuring the oak tones enhance brightness while carpets provide a sense of grounding and calm. The layout and material choices focus on practicality, durability, and ease of maintenance, ensuring the design remains functional as well as visually appealing over time.

Subtle transitions between flooring types were carefully considered to maintain visual flow and spatial harmony throughout the home. The combination of materials supports different lifestyle needs while reinforcing a cohesive interior language. Overall, the project reflects a thoughtful approach to material selection, comfort, and everyday usability, resulting in an inviting, well-balanced living environment suited to modern residential living.
