The design intention for this 2,000 sq. ft. NRI apartment was to create a home that feels calm, grounded, and timeless while maintaining a sense of understated luxury. The spatial planning was driven by the idea of openness without compromising intimacy. By removing an existing bedroom wall, the layout was transformed into a 35-foot-long visual axis, allowing the drawing room, family sitting, and mandir to flow seamlessly into one another. This gesture enhanced spatial continuity and encouraged togetherness, while telescopic fluted glass partitions maintain flexibility and subtle separation when required.
Materiality plays a defining role in shaping the character of the home. A curated palette of striated textured MCM cladding, rammed earth finishes, fluted laminates, relwood accents, and soft metallic highlights establishes warmth and depth. Beige and earthy tones form the foundation of the interiors, creating a soothing backdrop that enhances natural light and spatial clarity. Italian marble flooring runs throughout the apartment, reinforcing continuity and elevating the sense of refinement.
Each space has been thoughtfully detailed to balance aesthetics with functionality. Textured ceilings, concealed storage solutions, and camouflaged doors ensure visual calm and minimal clutter. The bedrooms express individual personalities while maintaining a cohesive language of materials and tones. Overall, the apartment reflects a deliberate effort to craft an environment that is elegant yet comfortable, contemporary yet enduring — a home designed for mindful living and lasting sophistication.

This residential interior project is a 3 BHK apartment designed for a four-member NRI family, with a total carpet area of approximately 2,000 sq. ft. The layout comprises a drawing room, family sitting area with mandir, dining space, modular kitchen, three bedrooms, attached bathrooms, and balconies. Originally configured as a 4 BHK unit, one bedroom was reconfigured by removing internal partition walls to create an open-plan family sitting and mandir area, establishing a 35-foot continuous visual axis across the common spaces.
The flooring throughout the apartment is finished with Italian marble to ensure visual continuity and durability. Feature walls incorporate striated textured MCM cladding, rammed earth finishes, fluted laminates, and relwood panels with selective rose-gold metal inlays. Ceilings include gypsum board false ceilings with integrated lighting and selected textured finishes. Storage units and wardrobes are executed in laminate finishes with concealed or minimal hardware detailing.
The kitchen is designed as a modular setup with matte-finish cabinetry, white Corian countertop, and marble-printed backsplash tiles. Telescopic sliding fluted glass partitions are introduced between the drawing room and family sitting area to maintain flexibility in spatial usage while preserving visual connectivity. Customized furniture elements, CNC-cut panels, and camouflaged doors are integrated to achieve a cohesive and clutter-free interior environment.
