Kitchen & Hallway Vinyl Flooring Transformation

The intention behind this project was to breathe new life into two of the most used spaces in the home – the kitchen and the hallway. Both areas had floors that had become tired and worn, leaving the spaces looking dated and lacking warmth. The aim was to refresh them with modern vinyl flooring that could deliver both style and practicality while enhancing the overall ambiance of the home.

In the kitchen, the focus was on introducing a design that would brighten the room while adding character. A herringbone vinyl pattern was chosen to achieve a clean, modern look with a touch of timeless style. The lighter tones instantly lifted the space, making it feel larger, fresher, and more welcoming for everyday use, family meals, and gatherings.

For the hallway, the goal was slightly different. As the first space people see when entering the home, it needed to feel inviting yet remain highly durable. The new vinyl flooring provided a smooth, cohesive finish that flows naturally into the rest of the house, creating a sense of continuity. At the same time, it offers the resilience required for a high-traffic area used daily by family members and guests alike.

Overall, the project set out to balance aesthetics with function.
