Holiday house for a couple with a child.
Built around two 20 shipping containers, the living spaces of the building expand and contract according to the sliding doors movements. When theyre closed the inner space is more intimate and comprise two bed/bath modules and a common area (living, dining and kitchen), while when the doors are wide shut the living speces expand up to the outer metal skin, configuring a network of more permeable spaces open to the surroundings. Lightweight cantilevering portions of the aluminum skin open up completely breaking the boundaries between inside and outside.
