Description

Floating cottages for calm bays in the Åland Islands. Inspired by icebergs, the cottage semi submerges in the water. All rooms are directed towards the atrium that contains a spiraling staircase from the living room up to the sundeck. The living space is 60 m².

Technical data

The cottage keeps a float by using ballast tanks and uses anchor to stay in place. It is connected to land by plumbing and wires.
