Entry for Badel block urban intervention competition in Zagreb, Croatia. The new structure is based on a simple grid that evolves from the old Distillery building. By opening up the block and making it accessible, people can use the whole block making it into a city within the city. This creates urban rooms where people stay, meet and stroll.

The buildings are molded, to give the illusion of a smaller scale and to let the daylight into the streets. The buildings have been sliced at ground level to create sight lines and to smoothen sharp corners where it is motivated to emphasize a better flow. The total building area is 65.000 m².
