“MULTIFUNCTIONAL TAPE” is a concept project for transit areas of Malmi in Helsinki. Its main task is to ensure relation between station areas, people and public spaces around. Thanks to form, character and idea of design proposal project creates dialogue with all of mentioned elements, eliminating strong dividing line made by two different areas - transport and public space.
“Multifunctional tape” gives entertiment, leisure time, information, protection. From boring transit area Malmi is developed into modern, effective structure which gives opportunities for new future.
