Cykel Hus - Bike House

Picture yourself on a bike somewhere in the Danish countryside on a hot summer day – you settle down for a while under a shelter from the sun to enjoy the silence and the beautiful view…
The idea and concept “CYKEL HUS” came to life by the inspiration of Professor Richard Hordens way of integrating design with human space. “BIKEHOUSE” is an integration between a bike and a tent which have the potential to create shelter from weather conditions like rain, wind and sun. The combination reflects a light construction of triangles compounded by tubes – by unfolding the tent directly from the bike like an extension the concept is to have a product that contains transportation and housing at the same time with a minimum of material and weight.
