A prayer room as a place to feel the loneliness of human kind – a place to derive time in our fast life. Most of the mosques in Iran have specific hierarchy which create intention for prayers. First of all you pass the corridor to arrive to ablution room. By passing this space you reach the main court yard and at the end Ivan introduce the entrance to mosque.
This is architecture that follows the function of the place in a sensible way.
The aim of this project is to read and reproduce this path from out to in. Follow the religious practices, windows in our prayer room should touch the ground in the main facade (Mecca direction). When people stand and pray they face the solid wall, while when they sit, they face light touching their skin. This line of light goes up and creates the entrance at the back of building where there is Ivan.
