Our landscape architects were approached by an hotel owner in the Czech Republic to provide them with ideas on how they could develop land within the ownership of the hotel. The extensive grounds of the hotel is currently only being used during the winter months as a nursery ski slope.
The main emphasis of the project was to build on the existing attributes of the sloping site and develop a design strategies to diversify the potential land use and visitor facilities. Optimising the use of the site across the seasons and incorporating the potential for holiday day trippers also became a key part in the strategy to maximise the potential of Hotel Neptune.
