21 HOUSES

21 houses will locate 25 km from capitol of Turkey ( in Ankara ).
This houses are designed for families of located in a neighborhood of single houses with private gardens. Creating an environment in which all the family members can establish a sense of belonging while their own private space is the main idea used in designing this privates houses. As expected from a house planned within a garden the inteprity of life and outdoor space is taken as the main design parameter. An introverted plan was preferred in which the house opens into a back garden rather than to the street in front with the adjacent houses. To establish and sustain this relationship and to extended the garden into the house the plan is devoloped around a courtyard. The fully glazed facade of the main living area on the ground floor made it possible to extend the interiror space to the garden and sheltered terrace fuctions as a semi-closed living area.The circulation is organized at the centre and the area is interpreted as a small courtyard area which recieves daylight from above.
21 designed on 3 stories. First one is ground floor. Ground floor have a kitchen , living room , bedroom and integrated garage. Second one is 1. floor. First floor has 4 bedrooms and last one is basement. Basement has a sauna, fitness, laundry, tecnical rooms. All these places cover a total area of 450 square meters.
In the landscape plan, it is designed with both introverted structuring and extroverted formation in mind. In order to ensure this situation, it was desired to reflect the awareness of nature by not using the garden wall while creating the introverted construction with the water element. When all these conditions were met in design, nature and urban life offered us an intertwined life.

The structure is designed in reinforced concrete.
Appearances were obtained using wood, stone and concrete.
Roof structure is considered as reinforced concrete and steel.
White color was mainly used in the interior design.
