The idea behind the design is bringing people together in a multipurpose transit area inviting
people to relax in a peaceful atmosphere which has a lake view. It creates a link between
three main universities of the capital city, therefore, it is a new sustainable social exchange
space for Ankara. The biomes which are located in the dam border with tram stop celebrate
the connection of the city and nature. It also provides numerous environmental sustainable
design features into the proposal such as electrical tram usage, rainwater harvesting and
living machine for water clarification. The site and building design leads people to experience
the basics of sustainability.
