-With the speed of development of today's society, everything becomes more hustle and bustle. That's why the human spirit becomes confused and frustrated. We need somewhere where people can feel life slow down, somewhere where people can calm down and let go of all the hustle and bustle of the world for a certain period of time. A period of time, a resting space for the mind.
-The project was formed with the purpose of developing local spiritual tourism culture, as well as contributing to improving the spiritual life and health of society. In view of the values and benefits that Meditation and Buddha Dharma bring to people. That is the great and only motivation for me to research, build and develop this topic.
-The project is located at Ngu Hanh Son, Da Nang City. According to research, "Marble Mountains are a symbol of the tourist city of Da Nang". In addition, "The Marble Mountains play an important role in promoting development and creating the diversity of Buddhism in this land." All ancient documents, bibliographies, inscriptions, documents as well as heritage relics are currently remaining on Ngu Hanh Son, which is the basis and authentic evidence to prove that Ngu Hanh Son is A Buddhist center, gathering many high-ranking monks and believers both domestically and internationally who come here to pilgrimage and worship. Recently, Unesco has recognized Ma chew (stone inscriptions) at Ngu Hanh Son scenic spot as Da Nang's first internationally recognized heritage. Ma Nhai Ngu Hanh Son includes 78 documents in Chinese and Nom written by kings, mandarins of the Nguyen Dynasty, and especially high monks engraving Chinese characters on stone. That is why forming a meditation center combined with Buddhist preaching here is extremely necessary. The project will contribute to the cultural development of spiritual tourism here as well as further development of tourism in Da Nang. In addition, another value that this project brings is to help improve the mental and health aspects of the people here in particular, people in the surrounding area and tourists who want to learn about Buddha. Dharma and meditation in general.
-The space and layout of the building's shapes are light and simple. Formed based on the element "Architecture with Buddhist identity and spirit". The space takes the element "Mindfulness" as its root, because mindfulness is the heart of meditation practice. Regarding the layout, the shapes are taken from the basic typical elements of Buddhism such as "The Four Noble Truths, the Eightfold Path and precepts-concentration-wisdom" to develop.
-The project is a harmony between "traditional and modern" architecture. Traditional architecture is "modest, simple, in harmony with nature", Traditional architecture "brings peace to users". And located in a special natural location, and Nature in traditional architecture is an indispensable thing. “Nature creates peace, Nature helps relieve the hurt and stress that people encounter.” That is also the spirit of Buddhism and Zen. In the spirit of promoting architecture linked to nature, the overall project is a part of nature, it gently blends into nature, but it has its own prominence compared to nature.
