The move is aimed at leveraging the strengths of the city and state in creating a manufacturing hub for space-related technology, utilizing the Human resources both experienced and Fresh graduates and a large pool of SMEs/Startups in technology and hardware domain.

Common Facilities Centre /Development Centre: 1 Lakhs Sq ft area should be provided for a CFC /DC which should include Tool rooms (which can be shared and used by all Companies, General Engineering Space and Co working Space for manufacturing.
• The overall floor area for the manufacturing unit should be capable for housing heavy equipment’s, testing equipment etc. In that workspaces of around 1000 Sqft or more around the center core shall be included. These workspace are utilized for developing products or modules along with co-working spaces. Such facilities across each floor shall be provided enough space for startups and research teams which can operate as an incubation model.
• The Manufacturing facilities Centre which shall be housed in the Ground floor of the development Centre block which shall primarily house all the heavy machines, fabrication facility units, prototyping facilities and hardware development lab. This lab shall be multipurpose in nature i.e. can be utilized for satellite production as well as subsystem component development.
• The Subsystem integration and testing facilities Centre which shall be housed in the first floor of the development Centre block which shall primarily house all the facilities required for subsystem integration and testing facility. This lab shall be multipurpose in nature i.e. can be utilized for satellite production as well as subsystem component as a product development.
• The Simulation facilities Centre which shall be housed in the second floor of the development Centre block which shall be a high end technology lab to carry out all stimulations. This lab shall be multipurpose in nature i.e. can be utilized for satellite production as well as subsystem component as a product development.
• The Clean room & integration Centre which shall be housed in third floor of the development Centre block which shall be a high precision clean room labs for testing integration and system engineering activities. This lab shall be multipurpose in nature i.e. can be utilized
