Motel Mexi - located In Nayarit, Mexico, this motel lies on a major route connecting South and North America. The client envisioned 16 normal and 8 luxury rooms in a compact space. Using travel as a design premise, the truck tirewas chosen to drive the overall form. Segmented and rotated, the four structures create an isolated courtyard with pools and vegetation, an oasis for weary smugglers...The entire facade is conceived as precast concrete panels bearing deep tread marks on their surfaces.
