Our co-authorship of this city centre luxury high-rise building shows our ability to create an unique architectural icon within the confines of a dense city centre.
This skyscraper, 192 metres high, was created through a close collaboration between Studio Daniel Libeskind and Artchitecture. Tall buildings of this scale are determining a new development trend in Central European architecture.
This is a good example of sustainable design, utilising a minimum urban building footprint to house a varied development of this scale.
This building’s prominent location, adjacent to the Palace of Culture in the Warsaw’s very centre, gives the opportunity for it to become a new landmark and visible symbol for Warsaw.
High-rise residential living is new to Warsaw; this 54-floor tower is expected to provide a model from which a new skyline will emerge.
To preserve precious daylight amid a dense and historic urban fabric, the team meticulously sculpted the buildings’ form with the arc of the sun path, allowing for maximum daylight to reach neighbouring buildings.
The podium includes a resident’s building reception and wine cellar facilities together with retail and restaurant units on the ground floor, a resident’s amenity recreational level on the eighth floor and nine levels of parking garage together with residents storage units
The tower rising above the podium consists of 44 levels of residential apartments. A total of 287 residential units of varying sizes.
Artchitecture was involved with Studio Libeskind from the inception of the design to the full handover of the building. Apart from architectural design and full coordination of the scheme artchitecture was involved in the detailed architectural interior design of all the public spaces, amenity areas and individual apartments.
