“Schools began with a man under a tree who did not know he was a teacher, sharing his realization with a few others who did not know they were students.” - Louis I. Kahn. The aim is to achieve a sustainable solution to nuances of campus planning and educational environments through the design of an institute of excellence that would impart design education in a collaborative and inclusive manner. A space to learn, a space to grow, a space to develop, TOGETHER. The Design aspires to be a transparent body of knowledge that encourages Designers, Academicians and Scholars alike, to develop solutions for the development of both self, and society in ways that are mentioned as follows- SUSTAINABLE Create harmony with each other and consequently, nature by building up a self sustained ecosystem of learning, research and pedagogy. ADAPTIVE Adapt to any situation, and be the best version of what it is generally supposed to be.
RESILIENT True resilience comes from an uplifted consciousness. The Design is supposed to enrich the relationship between man and nature.
A community of learners and preachers who collaborate to produce exceptional discoveries in Multi-dimensional problem solving and sustainable co- existence.
Inter-disciplinary approach to learning by adopting symbiotic and sustainable means which makes the entire campus a vessel of knowledge in order to bring about the truest form of sustainability. The Culture is of Involvement and Togetherness. This shall impose an idea of mutually beneficial co-existence of students,Faculty and the Built form itself. The objectives were as follows:
1. Understanding the ideology of design and translating it into built form. 2. Studying site and climate specific design possiblities to attain contextual optimisation. 3. Focus on a self-educating learning environment. 4. Addressing issues of sustainability, climate change and symbiotic place making for efficient pedagogic possibilities. 5. Analytical application of Space Conditioning for Visual, Mental, Physical, Auditory comfort etc. 6. Developing optimum Performance specifications for the said design with respect to the user group and context. 7. To achieve an integrated identity through a set of Multi-functional spatial arrangements.

EACH STATION HAS 4 SOLAR PANELS OF 1.98M X 9.9M
energy generated by one panel per hour = 250 wATT PER HOUR
ENERGY GENERATED BY 1 WORK STATION =4000 WATT PER DAY
(4 SOLAR PANELS) PER DAY(4 HOURS OF SUNLIGHT)
TOTAL ENERGY GENERATED (.75 EFFICIENCY FACTOR) =3000 WATT PER DAY
ENERGY NEEDED FOR ONE CHARGING POINTS PER HOUR =50 WATT PER HOUR
ENERGY PRODUCED (3KW PER DAY) IS SUFFICIENT FOR 6 CHARGING POINTS
FOR UPTO 10 HOURS
