Brief: This exhibition was curated at IGNCA showcasing photographs of the world famous photographer Antonio Martinelli, who followed the route of the 18th Century Daniel Brothers. The exhibition used bold colors and maintained eye levels for easy viewing.

Architect Jinisha Jain was the Exhibition Designer for “Oriental Scenery- Yesterday & Today”, an exhibition curated by famous Italian photographer Antonio Martinelli on Thomas and William Daniell’s aquatints and his photographs, at Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts, New Delhi, India (Feb 2011-March 2011).

This exhibition was previously been staged in Calcutta, Rome, and Paris. Daniell brothers' journey in India was divided into three routes- the Gangetic plains, Central India and the Deccan. Systematically, three-color codes in bold blue, red, and yellow, were used to communicate this historic journey simply to its audience.

The routes with destinations were suspended as cut-outs like portals to enter one zone from the other. Eye-Level viewing, interpretation and lighting, and circulation design were given utmost importance but with simplicity and boldness.
The exhibition revealed itself like its own brochure, informative and exciting at the same time.
