This is a Chinese hot pot restaurant in Fuzhou, which uses linear light to separate different seating areas, and uses titanium plating, natural stone ... and so on to create a modern and luxurious atmosphere. The designer created the space like a time tunnel seems to take modern people back to the scene where the ancients reunited to eat hot pot.
The designer creatively blends these elements into the design. The seats distributed through the frame of the light beam and the boiling water vapor of the pot are superimposed on each other to create a dreamlike space of eating hot pot.
The seats in each zone are separated by metal plates, which can not only keep the privacy but also retain the visual penetration, so that the interaction between the seats in each zone can be interactive naturally.
The layers of linear light are arranged and staggered, depicting the rapid movement of time. In a commercial city like Fuzhou, a group of people can sit down and enjoy a rich hot pot is a very precious time.
The ceiling hanging lighting enhances the depth of space and time. The restaurant not only satisfies the needs of customers with delicious dishes, but also attracts them by satisfying various feelings.
Designers use luminous lines to connect and deepen the feeling of time flowing. The roof uses light spots of constellation images to connect delicate metal poles. The constellations in the night sky seem to be eternal with time, but they have different appearances under the passage of time. In this space, people can freely enjoy the gathering food moment with friends and family.
The word “X”(兮) comes from Xijia Pan, a kind of ancient Chinese bronze basin. Designers also incorporate the element of the word “Xi” (兮)into the store, in corresponding to the design of the pots in this hot pot restaurant and therefore create a connection between the hotpot culture and the modern interior design.
