The contribution of five human senses towards the perception of space is massive.Taking into consideration, a new method of learning where education is taught via play methods. A new method shakes up conventions, but is definitely helping children to learn better because at a young age, touching is one of their most developed senses and comes naturally. Learning is not isolated to positive reinforcement, much of our learning comes from trial and error.
People with disabilities in India are subject to deprivation in many dimensions of their lives. People with disabilities in India are subject to deprivation in many dimensions of their lives. The field of neuroscience is providing both insights and pragmatic guidelines for the enhancement of learning and development practices. Social attitudes and stigma play an important role in limiting the opportunities of disabled people for full participation in social and economic life, often even within their own families. One example is the work of Lila Davachi, Associate Professor of Psychology at New York University, who offers the acronym AGES to highlight four key criteria that her research has shown to be necessary for effective learning: A G E S - Attention, Generation, Emotion and Spacing.
As infants, we are learning the basics of how to live and we make numerous mistakes along the way. Being able to fail and learn from failure is an essential component of constructive learning. The school is designed to have peripheral boundaries open to parts of the garden it is situated in. Hence, the learning is not limited to an atmosphere of four walls and a roof. While, that is also one of our primary concerns considering climatic factors, the classrooms and designed to facilitate cross ventilation with a central opening which cuts through till the roof level. The ramp is designed in a way to wrap the structure, metaphorically meaning you can view it all despite of restricted physical attributes.

The site is an existing garden of which a part was allocated for the project. Towards the west, the barren ground adjoining St.john’s school has a toilet that is now being constructed. There are a lot of developments being done on site. Towards the east, the shaded area beyond the circular focal navigation spot, is where a provision is specially being made for people with special needs.
This was a student project and is thus being discussed with funding authorities of ADAPT School Bandra, Mumbai and NGOs to collaborate and execute it in minimal costs.
