What is a portal?
We consider it an access / intermediary
-between nature and man
-Between the sky and the earth
-between the built and the natural
From this deciphered concept, we are forced to generate one or several accesses to the dike. It is a reality that when the word PORTAL / HITO is pronounced the first sensation is of good news because of its relation with the generation of work that this generates, but the inherent fact is that nobody wants to see the great engineering structures, sheds, floor movements , etc. generating an intrusion of man that has little to do with the territory, with its flora and fauna.
Taking into account these factors is that we put the traditional portal in crisis.

PORTAL 360
As the environment has changed as a result of climate change, the large bodies of water in the city have generated changes in climate and therefore in flora and fauna. For this reason, we are obliged to generate a proposal to raise awareness of the care of the / dikes, both for the aforementioned and to foresee their future contamination.
The notion of fluidity, buoyancy, constant changes, sustainability, are the principles of our proposal. The 360 portal is a MOBILE / FIXED proposal, changing its location according to the dike cleaning needs. For this reason the floating configuration is constantly changing according to the level of the dam and its cleaning
The 360 portal design aims to:
- Being a self-sustaining element
-dialogue with its natural environment in its constant mutation (dike level, climate change, etc.) -
- Socially aware to respect the flora and fauna

Portal 360 is a building that breaks down into two parts:

FIXED BLOCK: PORTAL '' SPRING '': These are platforms / buildings (electric loading dock type) located in strategic areas for the operation of the lookout. In turn, these will be equipped with interactive information of the place, on the other hand they will also be self-sustaining in terms of energy through the use of solar panels

MOBILE BLOCK: Portal '' Cleaning '' It is a mobile building (raft type) that navigates through the dike by means of a cleaning by means of water filtration (skimmers and filter system of pool) During the trip it gathers garbage and oxygenates the water for a good life of the fish. The mobile block is also self-sustaining through bacteria that are loaded in the '' Fixed Blocks ''.
Said Block, when it is anchored to the dock, has the following programs: - bar - rest area - 360 viewpoint - sanitary facilities - technical area - services area-

From Materiality:
We proposed a modern architectural solution, despite making use of traditional local materials (wood deck, concrete) in which we can see a clear integration with the natural landscape and avoid contrasting the building on the dam. The proposal handles the technique properly constructive of the technology of wood and its derivatives, using it with clarity and expressiveness since it is built in metal structure on reinforced concrete piles, accompanied by a wooden deck, following the same compositional logic that the walkways of stay have been designed large, based on CIRSOC standards taking into account that wood is a sustainable and renewable product
