KIPOS: means garden. The connection between nature and living beings in every area of the project, embracing all kind of surroundings into the house. A conscious inside-outside connection, a garden full of tropical plants that assimilate and oasis inside the city.
The dining room It’s a secluded area where family and friends can focus on meals and conversation; KIPOS provides this experience with an added bonus within the house, the connection with the exterior while having a meal providing a set among nature, flowers and fresh air.
The perfect balance between modern and rustic decor in such an important organism in the house. The kitchen’s all about coziness and warmth, with the perfect ergonomics for the cook in place.
The inner space of a structure and the exteriors of the same, are two completely different entities co existing with each other. When inside the house, you don’t feel detached from the outside, and it goes the other way around too.

All materials and techniques are those used in the Yucatan Peninsula. Materials such as stone and wood from the region, and the typical building system of the area: masonry, block wall, and slab of joist and vault.
For decoration and finishes, techniques of our Mayan ancestors were used, such as the bajareque and chukum, a finish obtained from a sacred Mayan tree.
