Neom's Transportation Interchange Station

Saudi Arabia has been blessed by a unique strategic location. It is acting as a global hub connecting three continents. It is also the heart of the Islamic and Arabic world. Transforming our strategic location into a hub of connectivity is one of the most important pillars in Saudi vision 2030 . One of the steps toward achieving this vision was establishing NEOM city to be the most ambitious project in the world, the land of future. With its unique geographical and climatic features, Neom will be immediately considered as a hub for tourism, trade, innovation, technology and livability. Therefore, providing a transportation interchange station will help in connecting Neom and Saudi Arabia with the world. this interchange will serve both water and land transportation in addition to serving national and international visitors.

Transportation interchanges are places where passengers can transfer from one mode of transportation into another one. This interchange will act as a transition point between land and water through connecting water and land transportation together. Passengers will be able to transfer among three different terminals which are: 1- Marine terminal 2- Train terminal 3- Bus terminal. The marine terminal Includes a cruise, water taxi and boats moorings.
Train and bus terminals will allow national visitors to reach Neom easily and conveniently, while the marine terminal will serve all international visitors.

Design concept:
The project was inspired by Saudi Vision 2030 of transforming Saudi Arabia into a Hub connecting three continents together.
This building Block will emphasize the connectivity through creating a central node that links diverse modes of land and water transportation together
The building design highlights this connectivity through implementing a Horizontal bridge that extends from the land side to the water side.
