non-linear architectural design explores the world of foldings. a world in which time and space are formed along with the folding of the material, with successive foldings and unfoldings. the is formed in both directions either folding towards the inside or the outside, therefore without a clear distinction between inside and outside. this concept breaks the tradition of geometric space, displaying a flowing world in a dynamic movement of exfoliation of surfaces, volumes and facades.

the structure and the skin become eterogenous to create the specificity of parts at a certain scale and the overall spacial effect on a larger scale. the exfoliating and unfolding forces applied to the facade reveal the internal structure and uncover the inner workings of the building. through this investigation, a dialog is born between artificial representation and natural aestethycs. what was exactly intended to be shown is the exact moment of tension between these usually opposite worlds and the formal results.
