All internal spaces are directly related with an outdoor space.
On the level of the ground floor everything is enclosed by fences or vegetation, so houses nearby are quite out of sight.
On the upper floors the houses have few openings – towards
one another and towards the neighboring sites.
As facades withdraw from the streets, the houses open up, and pergolas and screens frame views on the first floor, while on the second floor, two of the houses, view towards the sea front and the other two towards the mountains.

Light and shade, texture and colour, come with architecture.
Colour has a strong impact on masses and anyway it’s fun to play with one or more colours, under intense sunlight.
Wood structures act in many ways.
They mainly serve as sunshades – as sun is quite intense during summer time
- but they also serve as wind protectors, as we have strong north – northeast winds and as visual barriers
