A penthouse apartment was proposed for the existing building El Almendro, locatedat the MIramar area in Santurce. Because added wight was an important structural issue, a steel structure with Concretek prefab panels was developed. The use of glass doors and windows allow the unit to receive great natural ventilation and illumination while offering great views of the San Juan cityscape. The apartment program consist of one bedroom, two and half bathrooms, a kitchen and a open dining and living area.
