The Agama Residence is located in the outskirt of the city of Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. Being in a rural area we explore the duality of enclosing and sheltering the occupant from the exterior tumult of the street in order to disclose them into the natural enviroment that dwells behind the house. An indulating L shape wall divides the public front of the house fron the rear private courtyard. A series of architectural elements provide a layered transition from solid to translucent, establishing this junction between house and nature. Thus nature play an important role in the house as light defines forms and shapes; and wind and water generate continuous flows which activated the spaces and its inhabitants.
