Construction of Motorway Toll Stations Competition 2006 A Yunnan wide network of toll stations was planned for the levying of motorway tolls for heavy transport vehicles. Our proposal was to position the toll stations’ administrative sections in buildings over the motorway, thereby providing a roof covering for the toll posts below. To provide a sense of corporate identity, characteristic features of the main toll stations were replicated in the design of the smaller stations.
