The site is an abandoned brownfield located very generously on the harbour in of Aarhus. 5 strips run through the field covering the paved surface and merging with the existing contours of the landscape. In this way, the entire site transforms into a continous landscape that folds up and down like rising waves that defines housing envelopes underneath and a 12 000 m2 skatepark on top.

The project introduces a mixed typology of building and landscape reflecting the mixing of social typologies - high class inhabitants and sub-culture skaters. The site renders a vibrant biotope for new lifestyles and cultures at the edge of the city.
