SENSORY EVENT EXTENSION MOMENTARY BORDER
IMMIGRATION STATION CONTROL MX-EEUUAA
The border crossing is always an event, especially when it comes to cross from one developing country to a developed country. This is the case of Mexico-United States, where the cross is not exactly a trip abroad with either their proverbial consequences either (a walk, have fun, learn, do business, etc.).. This is clear if we consider that the temporary and permanent migration takes place in our country the USA is mostly sponsored by the lack of jobs nationally and consistent and constant search for a solution to this problem.
The above gives us a clear idea of the importance of the migration event in Mexico. However, this process of political, social, economic, cultural and most important, and finally a purely physical aspect is summarized by the fact a cross-border line call in a period of time equal to that it takes a person in one step.
It is here where the first point leads to the development of our project. Thus, the intention is to achieve the amplification of the migration event, which if the propagation of a sound wave through space.
Fig 1 .-
This amplifier is designed to create a transitional space between the two countries, which gain the time needed to generate meetings and exchanges between people crossing from one country to another. As well as space for the exposure and knowledge of different kinds of material, such as political issues, information on migration, cultural events, art exhibitions and anything else that leads to a better understanding between the two countries to achieve better relationship and understanding between cultures.
All this is set through an 8-m height above ground level along the entire roof of a bridge 120 m long and 24m wide elliptical section, which is divided into two levels, taking into the first a double-height central hall and flanked by two terraces and on the 2nd level are two double platforms divided by height. Are located in the arrivals of the escalators leading to the migration monitoring stations located below the ground.
The second point that complements the development of this project is a social rather than urban. Namely, that although solutions are proposed for the urban planning area Anapra specifically, they are demanded by the social needs which are so obvious imperative. In this aspect it is proposed is a Utility Belt connected directly with the Immigration Control Station forming a complex of services to the community of Anapra. This belt is translated into a series of modules of 20 x 20 m. plant by 2.7 m. tall, consisting composition and a radial. All of them under one cover set, which separates the buildings from 90cm for a mattress and cause thermal air currents. The program for this Utility belt comprises spaces available for the health (clinics), education (nursery), Human Rights Office, the Municipal DIF, the Mexican Institute for Women, culture (galleries indoors and outdoors) and leisure (rest areas, patios, water mirrors and cafeteria).
The fact that this project does not focus solely on the issue raised by the Competition Arquine, is that being one more of society and the reality of Mexico, it is impossible not to cooperate as far as possible towards of improvement for each of our residents, it is obvious that this does not resolve anything that has to be addressed in a review Anapra but never this many
