THE PINWHEEL HOUSE
The Pinwheel House illustrates conditions of life in a utopia of hypothetical garden city where residents are no stranger to each other and crime rate is zero. The interlocking arrangement of the four houses introduces a flow of open space promoting the idea of borrowing landscape. A garden adjacent to a house is spatially a part of that house and also a visual extensions of the others.

All four houses have identical open floor plan with movable partitions for privacy control. By sliding the partitions according to the everchanging life patterns of the residents, from dusk till dawn, the Pinwheel House works as a strategic board game of public and private programs.
