My main task with this project was to create a connection within Aspern masterplan and its environment then to build a wall inbetween.
Aspern developers are interested to create a new urban center.But the green corridor around the masterplan without any functions isolates the masterplan and takes all of its urbanity.
In my opinion an urban center is not a closed microcosmos,more an extended structure mixing with its surroundings.
In this interest I created an extended structure depending on movement between important points on masterplan and environment. I connected these and created in between attractors with different functions.
The whole structure acts like a sponge in between or as a labyrinth where one loses himself and immediately comes to the center of the city.
So i decided to generate a whole system which has a new ecology where the inside is outside outside is inside at the same time.
