“Antognolla Golf and Spa Resort” will be an international quality luxury resort with different activities, run by a prestigious Canadian Company specialized in high standards of hospitality.
The project is developed on a 600 hectares wonderful hill area, situated in the earth of Umbria, 15 minutes north of Perugia, between Florence and Rome.
It is characterized by the Antognolla Castle and by the 18 holes golf court, designed by Robert Trent Jones.
The project consists of a realization of an hotel for 110 rooms organized into three principal nucleus, linked to each other: the services nucleus, the new nucleus and the historical one with the Castle.
The services nucleus located between the Castle and the new borgo, is a 10.000 Sqm. building organized in four floors, partially undergrounded. It includes the main reception of the whole resort, two restaurants and kitchens, spa, meeting rooms, indoor and outdoor swimming pools. The architecture is characterized by a shape that follows the natural curves of the hill emphasized by a green covering vegetation. The new 73 suites situated above the services’ nucleus, reviews the Umbrian architectural traditions in a contemporary language. The other 37 suites are placed in the Castle to achieve a unique experience.
The new club house, partially undergrounded, is a three floors building of 3.000 Sqm. Located next to the golf course.
Four new borgos will be realized in estate of Antognolla surrounded by the green Umbrian hills.
The main aim of the project is to respect the natural environment by using eco friendly materials and technology. When it is needed to screen the buildings, especially in the Castle area, we used a system of green vegetation and wooded dunes.
The access road to the complex is on the local Provincial street trough a wide roundabout. Two big car parks, which will seem two gardens, placed next to the entrance will limit the traffic in the Resort.
