Located in central Switzerland’s Rontal near Lucerne, the large leisure park is an adventure center and mall in one, connected by a newly built stretch of highway. Behind a translucent polycarbonate façade the building is split into two volumes that stand diametrically opposed to one another. The roof landscape featuring plazas, water surfaces and birch forest is a reflection of the figure „8“-shaped interior. A spatial continuum creates an interior landscape that the visitor can interact with. A variety of leisure, entertainment, and consumer facilities are consolidated under one roof and enriched with different attractions and events. Mall creation means allowing intense atmospheres and a unique identity to develop, distinguishing it with a measurable increase in value. Immersion into the world of EbiSquare offers the visitor relaxation, enchantment, and adventure. Sensual fascination is spatial and transformed through media. The visitor is flaneur led through adventure-rich landscapes. Different landscape typologies from central Switzerland serve as models for extensively choreographed sculptural and media interpretations.
