The idea of this project comes from war-ruined buildings of Iraq, which scattered all over the country. It is materialized as an architectural installation, functioned to house various form of art to commemorate the victims of the Iraq war;

Moreover, to bring the issue closer to public whenever and wherever available. Therefore, the gallery consists of modular lightweight hollow panels and structure components which can be easily constructed as needed or wanted.

Through this project, the massive blocks of traditional Iraqis houses are reversed, becoming a visually penetrable building- a symbol of the impact of the violating war.

The broken pieces of the houses dominated by rectangular form of the spaces and the main material used {adobe}, are symbolized by the densely perforated panels.

The reconstruction of each pieces symbolize hope, encouraging activities {life} on their {its} surroundings. The number "4" related to the symbol of the first form of ordering the world has ever known, is used as the form and size of each panel {4m x 4m}.

It symbolizes the hope for a more orderly condition created in the new life of the Iraqis. This installation is dramatized by the artificial lighting on each pieces, producing an exploding effects of the building at night, as a decorative and general lighting
