The corporate headquarters of one of the largest companies in india, this white concrete building housed the offices of the top executives of united breweries. The glazed core of the building is surrounded by an environmental screen that modifies the bright tropical light and illuminats the interiors with reflective daylight. The 5 meter gap between the glazed core anthe screen is bridged with planted terracesthus providing the offices with gardens at all levels. The entire building whose external facade is finished with brush hammered concrete and is proportioned with the golden section. This four floor building appears to have two floors due to the design of the outer screen openings. There is thus a play with scale, classical proportions, modernity and environmental concerns.
