Energy Class A

The project will be built in 2009 in Pregnana Milanese few kilometers far from Milan, Italy.
The project is a case of study for sustainable design approach to residential building, in this case the Universuty Politecnico of Milan was a Energy Consultant. The Energy Class A Building is a mix of high thermal insulation and thermal mass with the geothermal system that provide the energy for cold and hot seasons trough the radiant ceilings.
The envelope technology is a ventilated facade in recycled wood and extruded clay panel, with fiberwood panel insulation; in the suoth-west elevation each units has a greenhouse. Each unit has a garden or a big terrace or an hortus.
