Dellis Cay is the vision Dr. Kinay, Chairman andCEO of the international real estate development group, the O PropertyCollection. Kinay purchased a 560 acre island that is part of Turks andCaicos archipelago and hired seven world renowned architects to createwhat is being billed as “the worlds rarest living experience in alimited collection of private residences and villas. On boardfor the project are Shigeru Ban, David Chipperfield, Carl Ettensperger,Zaha Hadid, Kengo Kuma, Piero Lissoni and Chad Oppenheim. In additionto the 124 villas and 154 residences, the island will have a 30,000 sqft Spa operated by the Mandarin Oriental, a five star luxury hotel, asignature restaurant and numerous casual dining experiences. The entire development is being master planned by Zaha Hadid, who alsohas designed some of the island’s residences, villas, restaurants,boutiques and the marina. Residences will range from $2 millionto $20 million. The development broke ground in January and is slatedfor completion at the end of 2009.
