The images, called Creative London, will be shown at a lecture at theRIBA given by OMA`s Reinier de Graaf to be held tomorrow {15 May} aspart of the RIBA Futures Fair.
As well as White City, de Graaf will be talking through twoother major schemes that the practice is currently working in theMiddle East – the Waterfront City in Dubai and the prototype DesertCity.
Speaking ahead of the lecture, de Graaf said: `Once urbanplans were designed to accommodate the masses, today the masses have tobe seduced.
`If 25 years ago urban plans were still produced to cater toan actual demographic necessity – a more or less delayed response to amore or less urgent need – today urban plans are designed to attractthe very population they are planning for.`
Joining de Graaf at the RIBA event will be London`s Deputy Mayor Richard Barnes and BBC Newsnight correspondent Justin Rowlett.
