| The registration deadline to this year's WAN Façade of the Year Award is almost upon us, so we're making a final call for entries. The closing date for receipt of entries is 30 June 2014, so there's still time to enter and see how the WAN AWARDS can boost both your profile and your firm's market position. |
Arguably one of the most important elements in today's commercial buildings, facades have come to define modern structures in terms of aesthetic, technological and environmental performance. Always a popular category within our programme, we're searching for projects that use the latest design techniques to take this transformational building element into new and exciting realms. |
Recognising the creative talent behind the façades will be Renato Benedetti, Partner at McDowell + Benedetti; Steve Mudie, Façade Specialist Partner at Alinea; Bruce Nicol of Dow Corning; Founder of Eric Parry Architects, Eric Parry; and architect and consulting engineer Professor Werner Sobek. |
