As WMA Spring ahead, here is what is happening at the Web Marketing Association.
2014 WebAwards Underway
The Web Marketing Association is pleased to announce the call for entries for its 18th annual international WebAward competition. The WebAwards are the standards-defining competition that sets industry benchmarks based on the seven criteria of a successful Web site. It recognizes the individual and team achievements of Web professionals all over the world who create and maintain outstanding Web sites. The deadline for entry for the 2014 WebAwards isMay 30, 2014.
Entering is easy. Simply create a nominator account or log into an existing account from past years. This password protected area will allow you to enter multiple sites, edit the information up to when the judging begins and receive updates, results and feedback on your entries throughout the competition.
Each year, many agencies and some corporations win multiple awards and deserve additional recognition. This year, we will recognize each organization that wins 6 or more WebAwards with an Outstanding Interactive Developer trophy. In 2013, there were 19 agencies recognized with this prestigious award. Interactive and advertising agencies that win a 2014 WebAward will automatically be included in the Award Winning Agency Database with a free premium listing as well.
The 2014 WebAwards are sponsored by the following leading organizations: Burst Media, EContent Magazine, ExactTarget, ad:tech conferences, Webmaster Radio, and Website Magazine. The Web Marketing Association thanks these companies for their commitment to the entire online marketing community.
2014 WebAward Judges Needed
Each year we add several new judges to the WebAward Judges panel in order to handle the increased number of entries and replace judges that are not able to participate this year. If you, or someone you know, would like to be considered as a WebAward Judge, please complete the Judges Nomination Form. All it takes is a strong understanding of Web development and a desire to help give back to the online marketing community to which you belong.
2014 IAC Awards Winners Announced
The Web Marketing Association recently announced the winners of its 12th annual Internet Advertising Competition (IAC) Awards, an effort to honor excellence in online advertising and to recognize the individuals and organizations responsible for the best in Internet marketing. The IAC Awards are the first and only industry-based advertising award competition dedicated exclusively to online advertising.
