The Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA) is an international research centre and museum founded by Phyllis Lambert in 1979 on the conviction that architecture is a public concern.

Based on its extensive Collection, exhibitions, programs, and research opportunities, the CCA is a leading voice in advancing knowledge, promoting public understanding, and widening thought and debate on architecture, its history, theory, practice, and role in society today.

In this context, the CCA is now seeking a Curator of Contemporary Architecture and an Editor that will reinforce the expertise of the institution in its exhibition, public programs and publication activities, actively contributing to bring forward the institutional vision.

Reporting to the Chief Curator, the Curator, Contemporary Architecture is responsible for the development, organization and management of multidisciplinary projects including exhibitions, public and educational programs. She/he manages the Program division and provides strategic leadership and critical thinking to shape, develop and promote a consistent and innovative curatorial direction for the division in line with the CCA’s vision. The CCA Programs division researches and organizes exhibitions and public programs as a form of cultural production to suggest new perspectives for architecture debate and as catalysts for original inquiry.
